About Me

I live outside of Denver, Colorado with my husband, three young kids, and dog, Derby. We love to ski, hike, ride bikes, and explore. When we're not outside, we are either snuggling on the couch reading books or baking chocolate chip cookies.

Before moving to Denver, I lived in Cleveland and Cincinnati, Ohio. This informed my love of boating, lakes, and ice cream (Graeters is the best!).

I went to Miami University for undergrad and the University of Cincinnati for my MBA. I have worked in marketing for 15+ years across categories and industries.

With three young kids and a busy job, people ask, "When do you find the time to write?" The answer? Early mornings, late nights, and stolen moments throughout the day. Although life is busy, writing is a creative outlet that challenges and fuels me.

One of my favorite parts of the writing journey is the dialogue it opens with my kids. I am proud to show them what it means to chase a dream: working hard, learning, working hard, connecting, working hard, imagining, working hard, handling disappointment, working hard, celebrating success, and... you guessed it... working hard!
